Sanya Richards-Ross to be inducted into the FHSAA Hall of FamePublished by
Congratulations to the Sunshine State's Sanya Richards nee Ross. The FHSAA on Saturday announced that Sanya, a 2002 St. Thomas Aquinas graduate and 2012 Olympic Gold 400m medalist was amongst 11 inductees to the FHSAA Hall of Fame.
Sanya enjoyed an outstanding High School career as a Florida prep and was the 2002 National Girl High School Athlete of the Year. She attended the University of Texas and is now coached by the legendary Clyde Hart. She was the lone track and field athlete amonsgt the announced inductees.
The induction ceremony is planned for April 26th, 2015, in Gainesville.
