by SteveU NDHSAA North Dakota State Meet – Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 Ranked Results: Class A | Class B HIGHLIGHTS Class A BOYS: US#7 Bismarck sr Jake Leingang threepeated, rolling to a 54-second win in 15:09.3 in snowy conditions with temps in the 20s. It was the 6th straight individual win for a Bismarck runner. After Shaney jr Sebastian Startz won a close battle for 2nd in 16:03.8 ahead of two others, US#18/HL#3 Bismarck took the next three spots en route to their 8th straight title. They won with 43 pts, followed by Fargo Davies 102 and Williston 132. Class A GIRLS: Bismarck made it a sweep with 42 points, topping Bismarck Century 68 andFargo Davies 103. It was the third win in five years for the champs, but the first since 2009 as Davies had taken the last two. Bismarck jr Brittany Brownotter, the sister of 2009 boys’ champ Christian, led a 1-2 finish for her team as she ran 14:47.8 ahead of junior Alexis Zeis’s 14:52.6. Class B BOYS: New Town had a 42-second spread and rolled to victory with 64 points, their 7th victory in 9 years. Grafton was 2nd with 147. Shiloh Christian sr Donovan Lambert won in 16:44.0 ahead of Lisbon jr Thomas Horgeshimer 16:52.4. Class B GIRLS: Defending champ Hillsboro/Central Valley started 4-5-7 and dominated with 63 pts, with Rugby 2nd with 143.
