Jordan Hasay is trying something new.

Needless to say, Mission Prep’s star middle-distance runner has done quite a bit in the outdoor track scene. But since it’s Hasay’s senior year she wanted to try her hand at her first indoor meet.

For her first foray, Hasay chose this weekend’s Nike Indoor Nationals in Boston and will run in the girls 2-mile race Sunday. “I just wanted to experience what indoor would be like before I went to college,” said the University of Oregon-bound Hasay. “I thought it would be a good experience. It’s a fun race. It will be a new experience, and there is no pressure. I’m just aiming for the outdoor season.”
