Keiryn Swenson, who will be a senior at Maize, has made an oral commitment to play basketball at Arkansas. She will also throw javelin. Swenson, an All-Metro basketball selection in March, was named Kansas’ female Gatorade track athlete of the year after winning the Class 6A javelin in May with a throw of 148 feet, 4 inches.
