While Cedar Springs junior Kenzie Weiler won the Division 2 state championship, after finishing runner-up the previous two seasons, classmate Austin Sargent captured the boys state meet, marking the first time two runners from the same school won their respective state championships since Jamie Krzyminski and Jared Aldrich of Corunna in 1998. Weiler is joined on the Advance All-Area Girls Cross Country Team by the state s Miss Cross Country”, Rockford senior Lauren Brasure.
