Winter Park's Katherine "Katie" Kuhn recently chose to join the Florida State Seminole distance program under the direction of Coach Kelly Phillips. 

We wanted to know more.  Our Take 5 with Katherine on her college decision.

DyeStat Florida - Katherine, why FSU?

Katherine - I really like Coach Kelly and the team dynamics. Also, the trails out there are amazing!

DyeStat Florida - What will you bring to the program?

Katherine - I will obviously bring my hardworking ability but also my funny personality!

DyeStat Florida - What do you plan on studying?

Katherine - Math is my favorite subject so I want to study finance or become a math professor.

DyeStat Florida - What has it meant to be part of the Wildcat program?

Katherine - It really has become my second family and I'm so proud and honored to run for every girl on my team. I am going to miss them and Coach Mac so much next year!

DyeStat Florida - What are your goals for the outdoor track season?

Katherine - I want to get top three at states in the mile and PR. Also, win the 4x800 again!
