Here are the nominees for the DyeStat national performance of the week:

 

Alexa Efraimson, Nike WA: The senior and first-year pro ran the fastest 1,500 meters in prep history at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, where she clocked 4:03.39.

 

Grant Fisher, Grand Blanc MI: The senior ran 4:00.28 to win the 1,600 meters and 4:01.67 for the mile (yes, there was second timing camera set up for it) at the Michigan state championships.

 

Elena Bruckner, Valley Christian CA: The junior threw 53-8.50 for No. 8 all-time in the girls shot put at the CIF-CCS Finals.

 

Michael Norman, Vista Murrieta CA: The junior ran US#1 20.46 in the 200 and also ran 46.70 in the 400 meters at the CIF-SS Masters meet.

 

Carlos Villareal, Rio Rico AZ: The senior used a late kick to prevail in the high school mile at the Prefontaine Classic in 4:05.25. 

 

Ryen Frazier, Ravencroft NC: The senior dug deep to pull out a narrow victory over Dani Jones in the high school girls mile at Pre, winning it in 4:39.84.

 

Candace Hill, Rockdale County GA: The sophomore came back from a two-week layoff to win the girls high school 200 in 23.64 at the Pre Classic.

 

Ryan Clark, Banneker GA: The senior dominated the high school 200 meters at the Pre Classic, winning it in 20.77.

 

Hannah Long, Eureka MO: The senior left her final stamp on the Missouri state meet by running 4:40.15 for a US#1 in the 1,600 meters.

 

Kahmari Montgomery, Plainfield Central IL: The senior put a sensation sprint triple together in a span of 70 minutes at the Illinois state meet -- 10.50/20.96/46.24 -- to win all three 3A titles.

 

Sydney McLaughlin, Union Catholic NJ: The sophomore ran US#1 52.59 in the 400 and US#1 58.65 in the 400 hurdles at the New Jersey Non-Public A Group meet.

 

Will Lauer, Sioux Falls Lincoln SD: The senior ran a Class AA state meet record 8:58.49 to win the 3,200 meters at the South Dakota state championships.

 

Chinne Okoronkwo, Mountlake Terrace WA: The junior put together one of the most interesting triples you will ever see -- winning Class 3A titles in the long jump (18-0), triple jump (US#4 41-10.25) and pole vault (US#11 13-3) at the Washington state meet.

 

Jack Yearian, Bellarmine Prep WA: The junior doubled up in the Class 4A distances, winning the 1,600 in 4:12.14 and the 3,200 in 8:59.94.

 

Allie Ostrander, Kenai Central AK: The senior left a final mark on Alaska with three more state titles -- the 800 with a PR 2:11.30, the 1,600 in 4:48.32 and the 3,200 in 10:09.73. 

 

Destiny Collins, Great Oak CA: The junior put together a 4:40.34/10:11.64 double at the CIF-SS Masters.

 

Fiona O'Keeffe, Davis CA: The senior responded to news of what Collins had done by running 10:00.85 at the CIF-SJS Masters hours later.

 

Willie Morrison, Leavenworth KS: He broke the 35-year-old Kansas all-time shot put record with 69-4.50.

 

Hannah Parker, Coe-Brown NH: She ran 2:08.81 to win the Div 2 title in the 800 at the New Hampshire state meet.

 

Oak Park MI girls: The 4x800 relay squad ran a new US#1 8:54.29 at the Michigan state championships.

 

Courtney Corrin, Harvard-Westlake CA: The junior long jumper got a new US#1 20-11 at the CIF-SS Masters.

 

Jacob Peister, Blue Springs MO: The senior got a huge PR of 50-2 in the triple jump for US#3 at the Missouri state meet.

 

Ja'Mari Ward, Cahokia IL: The junior broke the IHSA meet record in the long jump with 25-0.25 and helped his team win the state title in Illinois.

 

Taylor McLaughlin, Union Catholic NJ: The senior ran 21.45 in the 200, 13.94 in the 110 hurdles and US#2 51.73 in the 400 hurdles at the New Jersey Non-Public A Group meet.

 

Brandee Johnson, Nansemond River VA: The junior ran US#3 41.33 in the 300 hurdles at her regional meet in Virginia.

 

Kaylin Whitney, Nike FL: The junior competed in the women's B 100 meters at the Prefontaine Classic and ran 11.49 in her return to Hayward Field.
