2014 FHSAA Cross Country Advisory Meeting Minutes

The 2014 meeting was held on December 2nd after the State XC Finals.  Several items of interest were discussed.  Overall, the committee was very satisfied with the organizational support and conduct of the State Meet but they would like to see the awards ceremonies tweaked.  District advancement was discussed basically allowing 50% of teams to move on to Regional competition.

Regional advancement to State was also discussed.  It was proposed:

"Restructure the regional to state advancement procedures to advance the top 4 placing teams in each region and award the remaining 8 spots to teams based on the standings of the FACA rankings."
