WOODBURY - He's got more Olympic gold medals than Michael Phelps brought back from China. And Carl Lewis has one thing that Phelps will never have: a Woodbury Relays watch. "This was the biggest meet of the year for us," Lewis said. "This was the first meet that everyone came together to run. And there were the watches, too. Guys used to kid me about running track, but it was a different story the next Monday when you were wearing your new watch. That made it a lot cooler." It may not sound like much in the face of his nine Olympic golds, but the former Willingboro High School runner knows just how much it means to shake the meet director's hand and open up the box that holds the reward emblematic of winning at the Woodbury Relays.
