Agoura's Tara Davis produced a lifetime-best wind-legal long jump of 21-0.5 (6.41m) in the final round of the IAAF World Youth Championships in Cali, Colombia. Davis became the first U.S. female to win a World Youth long jump gold medal, helping the Americans set records with eight gold medals and 19 overall.
