Vista Murrieta Sweeps the Stanford Cross Country InvitationalPublished by
September 30, 2014 | By Charles Mckee Vista Murrieta brought home the Team Championship as the Broncos dominated in both the Boys and Girls races to sweep the Stanford Cross Country Invitational Saturday. It was a huge win for Vista Murrieta and solidifies the Southwestern League’s position as a leader in the sport. “The Boys Team has had someone different step up each week .Eric Nunez ran with the lead pack the entire race finishing first for our team in a close 4th place’ said Bronco Coach Karen Candaele. “Trevor Knaus, Chris Malloy, and Eric Constante finished within 7 seconds of each other, followed by Colton Reddish in our 5th spot”.
